A basic & easy solution to opening a gate; a key fob is essentially a remote to open the gate. All you have to do is keep your fob on your keys, and as long as you’re within a few feet from the gate, it will open.
Typically installed at the front of the gate, keypads need a password to be entered for the gate to open and close. A call-box is often integrated with the keypad, allowing you to talk through it to the person requesting access to the property. We recommend Keypads as a backup for the Key Fob. For additional security, you can add built-in security cameras, which take pictures of the person entering the code in the keypad or of the license plate entering the gate.

The solar panel needs at least five hours of direct sunlight on a daily basis to maintain a battery charge. The panel can be mounted up to about 20 feet away from the gate operator.
